What’s the point?

Beard oil is a cosmetic product specially designed to care for facial hair and the underlying skin.

Its main function is hydration and nourishment. The beard, like hair, can become dry and brittle, especially in harsh weather conditions (cold, wind, heat). Beard oil helps keep the beard soft and manageable, making it easier to style and more pleasant to the touch. It also prevents skin problems such as itching, dryness or scaling caused by dead skin cells (also called “beardruff”).

The advantages of beard oil

• Moisturise: by penetrating the beard hairs, the oil helps to retain moisture and prevent dehydration. It can also soothe irritated skin and prevent discomforts such as ingrown hairs.
• Nourish: thanks to the essential fatty acids in vegetable oils, it nourishes hair follicles, contributing to a fuller and healthier beard.
• Soften: it makes beard hairs less stiff, which reduces the prickly feeling often associated with coarser beards and helps tame frizz.
• Perfume: adding essential oils gives the product a pleasant and refreshing scent, leaving the beard smelling great.
• Protect: it forms a barrier against external aggressions such as wind or pollution, while giving the beard a groomed and clean appearance.

Use

To use it, simply put a few drops in the palm of the hand, rub the hands together to warm the oil and then massage it into the beard and underlying skin. Use is recommended after showering, when the beard is clean and slightly damp, for better absorption.

Key ingredients

In detail: jojoba oil helps fight irritation and conditions the skin, argan oil moisturises and softens, sweet almond oil protects and promotes growth, and apricot kernel oil is rich in antioxidants.

The essential oils of lavender and patchouli not only add a pleasant scent to the beard, but also help purify the skin and promote growth.
